Every couple wants to plan an unforgettable wedding. That’s exactly what Alex and Mey got on their special day. Their wedding was pretty much one giant family contribution. From the invitations and decor to the food and entertainment, we personalized as much as we could. It was a 2 days wedding and family affair.
Friday was the day the bride and the groom donned traditional Cambodian and Chinese outfits during the tea ceremony. To incorporate their theme we created a beautiful backdrop using blush pink and champagne color valance wrapped in hand sewn flowers.
The next morning the intimate ceremony was held at the Carriage House Inn. Closed family and friends were invited to witness the couple “I Dos”. The ceremony venue was beautifully decorated with backdrop, silk flower balls, aisle runner, entrance flowers and most importantly their little wedding parties, three cute flower girls.
At Regency Palace, for the evening reception we customized our decor to accommodate live band, with the emphasis on the couple’s head table as the focal point. The bride and groom are lucky to have an amazing family and friends to help them decorate and create this unforgettable pictured perfect wedding.
A very lucky wife got the surprise of her life when she discovered that her husband had hired CDE to creatively put together birthday décor for her special day. To keep the decorations simple yet elegant, we incorporated lilac and black colors on white damask accented with roses and hydrangeas. The venue was done at his wife favorite Chinese restaurant, Cheung’s Kitchen.
This wedding was infused with modern touches and bold colours. The colourful palette of red and white accented with black details created magic in the venue room. With a little bit of romanticism in mind we transformed the Calgary Zoo venue from daytime wilderness to evening glamour with string of waterfall lights accenting the main couple’s table. The décor maintained the elegant look with red roses grouped in square vases atop the centerpiece mirror surrounded by rose petals and tea lit candles. Each table was enhanced with white lace to maintain the theme’s elements. Chairs graced in black covers and wrapped with red sashes provided the needed contrast to give this wedding an edgy look. This wedding glamour was captured by Debbie Wong Photography.
One week after their inspired Morocco theme engagement, we created another unforgettable theme for Steve and Sonia’s wedding that highlights the bride’s glamorous personality. With strings of crystal hanging from the elegant LED backdrop and beaded votive glass show casing the couple’s rosette sweetheart table, this decor certainly were taking a page from old Hollywood “The Great Gatsby”. We combined pearls, crystals, grey, light pink and white to create a stunning and chic wedding.
Slightly behind blogging but better be late then never. Inspired by Morocco theme this engagement kicked off with authentic and custom detail, including lanterns that sitting in rose petals matched the colors of the celebration.
One of our creative design elements was the spectacular stage in the center of the Polish room that featured array of bold colors of Morocco on a massive LED backdrop and brought everyone’s attention to the happy couple.
Happy Valentine’s Day and hope everyone enjoyed the Family Day long weekend. This weekend of love was eventful for us. We were able to successfully decorate for two beautiful events. An engagement party of 250 people for a young couple and a small intimate wedding.
We were fortunate enough to have Debbie Wong Photography take some beautiful pics for our portfolio!!
